In this introductory guide, you'll learn the basics of creating and sharing prototypes. You'll learn about pages, widgets, and interactions. You'll also learn how to view your prototypes in a web browser and share them with Axure Cloud.
Pages
Axure RP files are organized into pages, which you can manage in the Pages pane.
To add a page, click the Add Page button at the top-right of the Pages pane.
Double-click a page's name in the Pages pane to open it on the canvas.
The Canvas
The canvas is where you'll build your designs. You can work without boundaries, or you can set page dimensions based on the target device you're designing for.

Widgets
You'll build your designs using widgets, which are organized into libraries in the Libraries pane. Axure RP comes with four widget libraries pre-installed — Default, Flow, Icons, and Sample UI Patterns — but you can also create your own or add libraries created by your teammates.

Sharing Your Prototypes
When you're ready to show your work to your teammates and stakeholders, you can either publish to Axure Cloud for free, or to one of our private hosting solutions with Axure Cloud for Business.
Click the Share button at the top-right of the UI and give your project a name and password. Then click Publish to get a shareable link to the hosted project.
If you have team projects that you created with older versions of Axure RP, you can upgrade them to work with Axure RP 9 by following the steps below.

You must have a license for Axure RP Team edition in order to work with team projects.
Upgrading Team Projects from Previous Versions
Ask all collaborators to check in their changes to the project by going to Team → Check In Everything in the previous version of Axure RP. Check in your changes as well.
Still in the previous version of Axure RP, go to Team → Get All Changes from Team Directory.
Export a standalone
.rpfile from the team project by going to File → Export Team Project to File.If you're upgrading from a version of Axure RP prior to RP 8, open and save the exported
.rpfile in each intermediary version until you get to RP 9. For example, if you're upgrading from RP 7, open and save the.rpfile in RP 8 and then in RP 9.You can download previous versions of Axure RP at www.axure.com/previous.
Open the
.rpfile in Axure RP 9 and go to Team → Create Team Project from Current File.Follow the steps on the Creating and Sharing Team Projects page to create a new team project from the exported
.rpfile.Tip
To avoid having to re-invite your collaborators, publish your new team project to the same Axure Cloud workspace the old team project is located in.
Ask all collaborators to download local copies of the new team project by going to Team → Get and Open Team Project in RP 9.
Note
Axure RP 9 does not support SVN hosting for team projects. As such, you'll need to move any existing SVN team projects to Axure Cloud via the steps above.

Viewing the Old Team Project's History
You can view the old team project's history on Axure Cloud:

Select the workspace the team project is located in and then click on the project's name.
At the top of the the project overview page, switch to the History tab.
